3rd Grade Building Structures Medium: Stamping/Printmaking, Drinking Straws, Paint, Crayons

I was really excited to introduce printmaking to my 3rd grade students for this assignment. We used straws and paint to create the basic lines (by stamping) of the structure. Once they were dry, the students were given their choice of medium to color and decorate their buildings. I was not as pleased with the outcome as I would have hoped.
