4th Grade Elephants Medium: Watercolor, Sharpie and Applied Technique: Zentangle

4th Grade used the method of Zentangle to create these unique elephants. I first directed the students in how to draw the elephants head. The students were instructed to create their own zentangle designs using line and shape. They painted the elephant, zentangle design and background with watercolors. The students then traced the pencil drawing with sharpie marker. These turned out so wonderful and the students had a lot of fun creating them.
